A 72 hour humanitarian cease fire ended and Hamas began to shell Israel once again. In four hours, more than 30 rockets landed on Israeli territory. Israel has indicated its willingness to enter into a permanent cease fire but the offer was declined. However, an additional five day cease fire was agreed upon.
Israel's position is that we will only accept proposals that meet her security needs.
